New, compact and high performance HiPace 300 H turbopump
Pfeiffer Vacuum introduces the new HiPace 300 H turbopump, the highest compression turbopump in the pumping speed class of 300 l/s currently on the market. With a compression ratio of 107 for hydrogen, it is suitable for producing high and ultra-high vacuum.

Impact of backing pumps on the vacuum system
In many applications, the maximum end pressure of a vacuum system is mainly traced back to the parameters of the high vacuum pump in use. But the characteristics of vacuum systems are not only determined by the high vacuum pump but to a remarkable degree also by the backing pump and the alignment inside the whole pumping station.

Pfeiffer Vacuum experiences positive business development in the first six months of FY 2016
Pfeiffer Vacuum generated sales of € 222.9 million during the first half of 2016 while achieving an EBIT of € 26.9 million and a corresponding margin of 12.1 percent. This resulted in net income of € 18.7 million and led to earnings per share of € 1.89 for the first six months. The order intake during the reported period amounted to € 231.5 million.
