Together with several thousand other companies worldwide, we can make the global economy more sustainable."
The UN Global Compact is the world's largest sustainability initiative and was launched by the United Nations in 2000. More than 13,000 companies from 160 countries now belong to it. By joining, companies commit to aligning their actions and strategies with the ten principles on human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. Once a year, all participants report to the UN Global Compact on their respective activities in accordance with the ten common principles. The goal is to create a sustainable global economy based on the principles and the seventeen United Nations Development Goals (SDGs) for the benefit of all people, communities and markets.
