Application Process and Useful Tips
In our job vacancies section you can find out about vacant positions quickly and easily.
The application you submit - including a cover letter and certificates - is initially all we know about you. Your application should therefore be structured to give us a clear picture of your qualifications and interests. With an individual cover letter, you can give your application a personal touch.
However, an application should meet 3 formal requirements: It must be a neat, structured and full application.
''Neat" means above all: Check your writing for wording and spelling mistakes.
"Structured" means: In your cover letter, briefly give us the most important information: Which vacancy are you applying for? Why are you interested in this job? What makes you particularly suitable for this position? Your cover letter should arouse our curiosity to read on. Your résumé should be in tabular form and should begin with your current professional position.
A ''full" application contains a cover letter, a résumé as well as all graduation, diploma or degree certificates, and any job references.
After you have submitted your application to us, we will confirm that we have received it. In addition, we will forward your data immediately to the supervisors concerned to speed up the application process.
To allow us to reach a properly informed selection, we would like to compile a comprehensive profile of your skills, qualifications and personality. That's why it takes time to carefully review each application. Our objective is to give you an initial response within four weeks.
Human resources and the department concerned compare the application documents with the job profile. We’ll naturally inform you as soon as possible if we are unable to consider your application. Should an unsolicited application be a good match for a vacancy, we will also include it in the follow-up process.
Useful tip: Take advantage of the interim period and find out about the challenges of the position and the company. If you don’t find answers to your questions, you can make a note of them. If you are invited to a face-to-face interview, you can take these questions with you and we will be happy to answer them!
Aptitude test
All potential apprentices who have made a good impression in the preliminary selection process will be invited to an aptitude test. The aptitude test helps us to find out whether your skills also match your desired profession.
If we have gained a positive first impression based on your application, you will be invited to attend the first interview. In this interview, we would like to learn more about your personal history and background, as well as you yourself. Of course, the interview also gives you the opportunity to ask more questions about the vacancy and the company.
Useful tip: The first face-to-face impression should be a positive one, so pay attention to punctuality and wear appropriate clothing. If you have brought any questions with you, we will be happy to answer them then. Your questions show us that you have thought about the matter and are interested in working with us.
Depending on the vacancy, the next step that follows will be more face-to-face interviews, the opportunity to get to know the team or a trial work period. We will let you know what happens next. If we reach a favorable decision, you will be offered an employment contract and will soon be part of our team!
